Ah, 'tis true, you got me--at least the first time you've logged in
from a given IP in a few hours you've have that.

As for the reverse lookup being simple, I know many an admin who has
cried into many a beer trying to figure this out the first time. Heh.
Mostly the cause of the problem ends up being one of their IP block
being undelegated from their ISP, but in the case of a private
network, that's a non-issue, of course.
