The ports tree is now locked. Everything should be approved by me - discuss your changes with other developers again as usual but get explicit approval for the type of change from me. We do not have a lot of time and coordinating package builds for the slow architectures is hard, so keep this in mind and follow this rule. Please concentrate on testing, testing and more testing, discovering issues with what's in the tree right now and fixing regressions, *important* security issues, etc. Do NOT ask me "can i update my port, i slacked for the last month" because it is almost always better to ship with something old, as opposed to something completely busted. Instead, please put your time towards making the next release better.
