That's what I'd planned to do before I noticed this patch on the snownews wiki, I think this patch has been committed to the current snownews and will appear in the next version thus we can remove the patch then. If I have time I'll look at patching it to use our own MD5* functions but at least this gives us a working snownews for 3.9. David
