Audacious[1] might be an interesting alternative too. It is forked from BMP 0.9.7.1 and has a Sun audio output plugin as well. The only extra dependency (compared to BMP 0.9.7.1) is taglib (and optionally curl IIRC). Tim [1] <http://www.audacious-media-player.org/>
