# mysqladmin -u root drop phpmyadmin
Dropping the database is potentially a very bad thing to do.
Any data stored in the database will be destroyed.

mysqladmin: DROP DATABASE phpmyadmin failed;
error: 'Can't find file: './mysql/proc.frm' (errno: 9)'
