Allright people... I found the problem (but not the solution).Filelight seems to core dump when the "Composite" extension is activated in xorg.conf, so this is not macppc nor arch related.
I know pretty much nothing about X.org so if anyone has an idea/patch... Meanwhile, it is perfectly usable but you have to turn off X Composite. -- Antoine
