I think it would be wise to keep the version for now.  Internally,
Unison uses the Marshal library which is tight to ocaml runtime.

There is an open issue on Unison for that:
https://github.com/bcpierce00/unison/issues/375 and it looks like it
should be merged soon™ but not before the next release.
