Hi, I'm wondering what the method is to move from a versioned package to a dated package, as the dated packages would look like its a downgrade. Upstream was very reluctant to make versions but has now started making versions available for people to use which creates a slight hiccup in updating the package.
Thanks, Aisha PS: In Gentoo, the general consensus to keep dated packages as 0_p20201210 so that updates are easier in case upstream starts releasing versioned package. I think thats a simple enough approach to use here as well (in case of any of my future packages I submit here, and also for peoples local tree).
