I was lucky and hit the one broken word:
Line 1407 in startrek-2018.txt contains a replacement character 0xFFFD.

$ passphraseme -st
fianc�e point relief ostensibly path difficulty vaporizing

But that's something upstream should fix.

Wow.  Will deal with that.
