Hi all, I've written a little shell script to manage system updates from source. It is very basic and inspired from release(8).
I've made a port of it. It contains a manpage. Of course, comments/improvements are very welcomed. It can sound superfluous but I use it since a few years and it proved to be very useful for my -stable and -current production machines. sysutils/maj: maj is a sh(1) script designed to help administrator update base sys- tem, including X.Org(7), from sources and manage cvs(1) source trees. maj is also able to make a system release. Cheers, -- Mattieu Baptiste "/earth is 102% full ... please delete anyone you can."
