Hi,

I am running three instances of Windows 2000 Server and one Windows 2003 server on a Dell 2900 -- two IIS servers, and two SQL Servers for testing purposes.

Prior to that I had run a couple of instances of Windows XP on it and performance was quite good. I am not doing any fancy graphics or multimedia -- just some application services that could not be migrated to OpenBSD in the short term. But they are resource intensive database driven web apps.

I am using standard settings in login.conf but use the staff login class. qemu was invoked as shown above. I access each of these systems using rdesktop.

I am using the excellent MFI (RAID1 and RAID6) and that most probably has quite a bit to do with my happiness about this.
