Any news? If this update gets committed I'll look into enabling Java bindings in the devel/subversion port so that Eclipse can interface to it. These bindings require threads which is why they aren't built yet. But devel/apr is now threaded so the Java bindings should work. Testing this kind of change with the severely outdated version of Eclipse currently in ports would not be ideal though.
