Just to let you know that the current base+x snapshot is post-ELF switch, but the "new" packages currently being copied out are STILL a.out.
If you waited for packages to switch to ELF, wait some more. Those packages are only for people who haven't switched yet. (and they also predate the kerberos churn-up).
