hello everyone, i have noticed intresting thing when configuring
netatalk3 and 2.
You cannot successfully login and see shares if any of conditions isn't met:
1) user must be in group wheel
2) user must have real shell (e.g. csh), not false or nologin
if 1 or 2 isn't met, user won't see any shares
Reading all docs in netatalk man, or in openbsd pkg-readmes hasn't lead
me to answer why does this conditions must be met. I discovered this
when tried to add user only for timemachine, and it turned that i have
to keep admin user on OpenBSD machine to use it.
I don't know is this a bug or netatalk architecture specialty, but i
think it should be documented somewhere. Thanks!
