Hi Scott, thank you for your feedback. Could you check out the new updated version from github and play with -J-Dawt.useSystemAAFontSettings=XXX in bin/netbeans. For me lcd works fine without garbage output. Here are all options for useSystemAAFontSettings: http://wiki.netbeans.org/FaqFontRendering Once again, thank you very much!
