We can't copy the patch directly. But it wouldn't be a big surprise if given the description of the bug someone else came up with a very similar diff though it would probably not have the whitespace change that is also in it. Problem is that get_aligned_mem() and get_unaligned_address() need to look for replacements in memory addresses.
