There was no "tagging". What happened was the mid-cycle switch in name from N.M-something to N.M+1-something, so that the late arrival of N.M+1 numbering doesn't cause late surprises. actual tagging happens later. But you are right, the time schedules are a little tight. It is definately to select "comfortable positions", and ship those.
