Obrigado Jorge! Pelo que vi numa primeira pesquisa na Internet, parece que se usa os dois termos indiferentemente. No entanto, no artigo da Wikipedia sobre MODIS, tanto em português<http://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moderate-Resolution_Imaging_Spectroradiometer> , inglês<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moderate-Resolution_Imaging_Spectroradiometer> como em espanhol <http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/MODIS>, usam o termo instrumento (cientifico) o que me lançou esta duvida. Pelo que pude entender o instrumento MODIS (ou outro) é constituído por vários sensores que medem diferentes comprimentos de onda a bordo de um determinado satélite (neste caso Terra e Aqua). Acham correcta esta interpretação?
