CK, I just happened to online when your Npussy query came through...

You know, I never saw Nine Pound Hammer and I'm only sure the *guitarist*
in Nashville Pussy was in that band.  Here in Lawrence, of course, his
presence and the entire 9#H legacy is overshadowed by what's-her-name the
bassist, since she used to live here in town and still has her posse here,
etc....

So I can't really answer your question.  Heh.
