Happy Super Bowl Sunday all of you NC/SC Americana Fans: Don't stay out too late tonight because you'll need your energy for this week's music in town. Tuesday Night's Showcase at the Double Door Inn features locals Michael Reno Harrell and Lenny Federal with Special Guest Alejandro Escovedo. And there's even an exciting change in plans - we thought Alejandro was coming as a two-piece for our gig ... guess what, it's a four-piece! It's gonna be a rockin' night. Get there early, music starts at 9:00 PM. And yes, the cover is ONLY $5 .. Do you know how many people have told me this is the deal of the year? Also, Tuesday night is the first opportunity to purchase advance tickets for our March 2nd - Second Anniversary Show - featuring all of the local gang and Special Guests - Dave Alvin & The Guilty Men and Robbie Fulks. Get 'em early, we're expecting a full house. Finally, Saturday night brings Steve Forbert with guest Michael Federal to the Neighborhood Theatre.
