Well, I wouldn't consider the Supersuckers to be reborn gods of twang or anything, but I also was at that SXSW gig a coupla years back. It sounded to me like their same ol' garage-punk cartoon schtick, and I walked out after a few songs. What they did Saturday night at the Croc was much, much different, and definitely for the better.--don
