BUT there's a wonderful story about Hank's toupee. Renowned fiddler
(and former member of Bill Monroe's "classic" Blue Grass Boys line-up)
Chubby Wise was playing in Hank's band. They were doing a gig in the old
one mic days (50's, I assume), & while doing a long bow, Chubby accidentally
hooked Hank's hairpiece & pulled it off mid-song.
Hank stopped the song, turned to his sideman & said, "Chubby,
you're ass is fired!"
