Amazing how Brooks says he
cares so much about country history and legends and then bulldozes Capitol into
hiring a man who knows so little about country music (or music to any degree for
that matter) but so, so much about marketing.
As Quigley's history with any outfit has been five years or
less, I suspect he'll be gone within the next few years leaving Garth in
charge. I do believe Brooks will
someday own or at least be in charge of Capitol.
Yearwood will probably be Vice-President in charge of a new label,
"Tracy-Hepburn/Nashville".
Sadly, my crystal ball blew up due to this
revelation...
