For those wishing to know: the Rev. Richards was a Welshman who spent most of his life in what is know King's Lynn in Norfolk, England. In 1812 this major work on Lynn, running (in two volumes) to over one thousand pages, covering lots of antiquarian stuff, a bit about the town in his day, etc. etc. It's not an easy read but represents a major gathering of materials which later works re-used. Rev. Richards also appears to have worked without an editor, and this book, like his Welsh-English dictionary, contains hundreds of printing and similar issues, some of which have been corrected.

All the best,
David,
England, overcast and a bit dark, cold too
