Last week one of our clients got DDoS:ed very badly and I noticed that "Too many address verification requests" get cached in the verify.db as negative hits. I really think that is wrong. Only negative hits that come from the next hop should be cached.
Disabling negative hit caching kind of "nullifies" the idea of the cache, even though it can be used temporarily to solve this.
