I am trying to run a Mailman server using Postfix and testing mail delivery through a relay server. After I made the following change in the /etc/postfix/main.cf file mail was going through relay just fine:
relayhost = relay.domain.edu

Now I want to try and test mail without using relay. I commented out that above line, uncommented out: relay=$mydomain and then restarted postfix but it's still going through relay. I restarted postfix again and restarted the machine. Is there suppose to be a special command I issue to force postfix to take this change? I haven't made changes anywhere else so I can't understand why it's still relaying mail.
I am running Postfix 2.3.3
Red Hat Ent. 5.1
Mailman 2.1.11

Thanks,
