I created a shape file using GRASS which has 3D Geometry. Basically I used the GRASS command (v.drape) to connect a raster layer with elevation and a streets 2D layer. The shape file is a 3D file and can be confirmed here : http://solutions-lab.net/thesis/vinfo.txt (Map is 3D: 1 ) And here : http://solutions-lab.net/thesis/test2.txt (Geometry: 3D Line String) Now my main problem is how I am going to convert this shape file into a PostGIS table. Which tools would I need? Should I continue asking in the GRASS mailing list or there are some tools of PostGIS (such as the shp2sql) which still work for me in this case?
