Can anyone tell me if Postgis rasters can be displayed in OpenLayers? We are trying to develop a web-gis stack (so far Postggresql - Postgis - PhP -OpenLayers) on an external server. I'm wondering if we can have raster functionality as well as display with postgis alone as the map server...without using Geoserver of Mapserver.
