This is to announce the release of Pound v3.0b. This is an alpha release. Changes since version 3.0a:
- added support for HeadRequire and HeadDeny in services - added support for HeadAdd in backends For the moment the system supports only HTTP/1.1 connections - we'll complete the feature set in future releases. Planned additions: HTTPS support, HTTP/2 support. We believe the new series 3 to be much faster than previous versions, but your testing would be very useful. Please let us know any results.
