Powerpro gurus:

I have two questions re virtual desks.

1. Is there a simple way to save the virtual desk arrangement? I
would like the names of virtual desks to be preserved when I quit
powerpro at day's end and restart the computer the next day.

2. I want to add a button to each window caption, which allows me to
easily move that window to another virtual desk. I created a button
that displays a menu of virtual desk names and upon clicking one,
moves that window to the selected vdesk. For this to work properly,
I first need to generate a list of virual desk names and whenever I
change a vdesk name, I need to regenerate the list. Great. I wrote
a script (see below) that saves the names of the virtual desks in a
vector. But the script has two problems:

2a. I don't know how to run it automatically whenever a vdesk name
changes.

2b. Whenever I run the script, I need to visit each and every vdesk
and my screen flashes 6 different wallpapers and 20 different
windows in rapid succession, creating something like a fireworks
display. I enjoyed it for a little while, but now it is getting
old. So, my question is, can this script be fixed to generate the
list of vdesk names without visiting each desk?

I would appreciate any suggestion. Thanks.

contents of the script:
; PowerPro script to capture virtual desktop names
; The names are used by the Vdesks command list to move active window
to another desktop
desklist = vec.create(10)
desklist[1] = "a"
; Store current desktop
desknow = deskname
*vdesk switchto Home
i=1
desklist[i] = deskname
; visit each vdesk in succession and capture its name
*vdesk next
for ( i=2 ; i le 9 ; i=i+1 )
        if ("'&(deskname)" eq "Home" )
        break
        desklist[i] = deskname
        debug '&(i)
        debug '&(desklist[i])
        *vdesk next
endfor
; Return to current desktop
*vdesk switchto '&(desknow)
desknow = vec.showmenu(desklist)
*Script Quit
