Hi, I want to backup my clips forever. Making a copy of every clip-file via filter isn't a good idea, as there will be too many files after a while (each using 4kB space).
Now I am using "Exec* ToFile CLIPVARIABLE oldclips.txt" in the ClipCaptured Command List. But Exec* ToFile only appends the FIRST LINE of the current clip :( At least in version 3.1 of pp. Did or will this change? I have also tried executing command.com with "type clipboardfile >> oldclips.txt", but that didn't work (I would need to make command run in the background somehow, and escape ">>", so pp gives it correctly to command.com). I could write an own program to append the current clipboard to oldclips.txt, but doing it pp would be nicer - it's gotta work somehow... Thx for the help, Dave ------------------------ Yahoo!
