You are required to quote _File_ in this instance because Total Commander wants you to provide it a path surrounded in quotes. Assuming a path of C:\My Path, Do(?"%ProgramFiles%\TotalCmd\TotalCmd.exe", _File_) would send %ProgramFiles%\TotalCmd\TotalCmd.exe C:\My Path whereas Do(?"%ProgramFiles%\TotalCmd\TotalCmd.exe", "\"" ++ _File_ ++ "\"") would send %ProgramFiles%\TotalCmd\TotalCmd.exe "C:\My Path" The double quotes are not included in _File_ because there are cases where this would be undesirable; this is why it is up to the user to include double quotes if required. -- Alex Peters / Melbourne, Australia PowerPro v3.8.21 / Windows XP ------------------------ Yahoo!
