Your theory is correct:  if PowerPro crashes while there are 
unacknowledged messgae boxes showing, you will lose any recurring 
messages.  I don't plan any changes to this for now.

As a workaround, if you don't need the capability to change to 
change the recurrence when the message is open, you could use a text 
file to hold your messages and import it at startup.  PowerPro does 
not delete from the text file.
