My problem (net.ping_threaded, or whatever it's called)
has the same problem. Not solved by putting a wait.for
before the net.unload.

I tried something similar with net: set a thread-safe flag
in each thread stil running, telling thread to terminate,
and then waiting for the termination. Didn't make any difference.

In any case my threads are terminated by _endthread, which should be
the end of it.

But, suppose every DllMain gets called with DLL_THREAD_DETACH, and
that that call takes a while to get through the system. By which time
unload has been called and DllMain has gone away?
