Alan,

We have many people on this board with many different
disabilities.

People who accept their disabilities don't stop until they
absolutely have to. I can think of dozens of these people. My
favorite is Beethoven.

Personally, I feel you have too much to share to stop now.

Selfishly, I don't want you to stop because you've saved me
countless hours with your dedication. Your responses almost
mirror my thoughts, and so I often remain silent except for my
own periods of excitement. (Icons, ' vs \ and other issues.)

And from other responses, I see that there are many people
with high levels of tolerance and acceptance that can help
when you have another upset; especially now that we know about
your illness.

I'm confident that they or I will kindly let you know when you
have another upset so please keep contributing. If you have a
phrase that your friends use that you wish we would use to
bring you back, let us know what that phrase is.

And thank you for sharing,

Ted

PS And for me, I know I've accepted "whatever it is" when I
laugh instead of cry or suffer embarassment when "whatever it
is" happens again.

To all,

Sorry about the late response, but again I was out and about for
several days and I couldn't keep my opinions to myself.
