Powerpro's installer program also creates registry entries which are needed for the file associations for notes and scripts. Your silent install can do that by running the .reg file shown below, which works for all Windows OS from 95 to XP.
Note You need to replace every occurrence of C:\\Shells\\PowerPro with the path you will be installing to. Note In addition to the usual registry entries created by pp setup, my reg file below has added one more command "Edit script" which appears on right click context menus for *.powerpro script files. It does not alter the usual behaviour for double-left-click on a script file. If you don't want it, just delete the last two paragraphs. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - REGEDIT4 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\StilettoProducts] [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\StilettoProducts\Stiletto] "Folder"="C:\\Shells\\PowerPro" [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.PProNote] @="PowerPro.Note" [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.PowerPro] @="PowerPro.Script" [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\PowerPro.Note] "EditFlags"=dword:00000000 "BrowserFlags"=dword:00000008 @="" [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\PowerPro.Note\DefaultIcon] @="\"C:\\Shells\\PowerPro\\PowerPro.icl\",2" [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\PowerPro.Note\shell] @="" [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\PowerPro.Note\shell\open] [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\PowerPro.Note\shell\open\command] @="\"C:\\Shells\\PowerPro\\PowerPro.exe\" *Note Open File \"%1\"" [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\PowerPro.Script] [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\PowerPro.Script\DefaultIcon] @="\"C:\\Shells\\PowerPro\\PowerPro.icl\",4" [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\PowerPro.Script\shell] [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\PowerPro.Script\shell\open] @="Run script" [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\PowerPro.Script\shell\open\command] @="\"C:\\Shells\\PowerPro\\PowerPro.exe\" *Script RunFile \"%1\"" [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\PowerPro.Script\shell\edit] @="Edit script" [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\PowerPro.Script\shell\edit\command] @="notepad.exe \"%1\"" - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Attention: PowerPro's Web site has moved: http://www.ppro.org Yahoo!
