The script you show creates a bar on the fly which can be
confusing. Here is another approach for a bar you already have.
Create a file called
c:\program files\powerpro\scripts\rotate.txt
which contains
args str amt
amt = amt % length(str)
quit (select(str, 0-amt) ++ select(str, length(str)-amt))
Now for each button where you want text to scroll, put
*info expr (.rotate("your text ", timesec))
Note that extra blank at the end of "your text ". Of course, you
could put a variable here as well
*info expr (.rotate(global_var++" ", timesec))
