well now, that i think about it more, i guess this was rather a feature
of neova than a bug. it was probably meant to block such events just
like a firewall may block all trafic when it's interface is not loaded
to ask the user. probably a system reboot acitvated this behavior. i
rarely ever reboot - just yesterday i did. neova was probably configured
like that since weeks - sleeping timebomb that is :p.
