After seeing Alan's reply today (where he mentioned v4.5.0.4c), I re-downloaded http://powerpro.webeddie.com/download/ppro4504.zip (my last download of this file indicated v4.4.0.5b and I didn't see a post from you regarding a new version). Once I downloaded this file again today (my download manager had said it was different to the previous 4504.zip I had downloaded), I unpacked the archive to try and work out if it was 4.5.0.4c (your readme file just says v4.6 which was of no help). Anyway, the 'right click in Windows Explorer and check the Comments on the unpacked .exe' method said that it was v4.5.0.4c So, less than an hour later, I see this message of yours above. Not knowing where 'the usual place' is, I decided that maybe you had updated the 4504.zip file again, and so I got my download manager to check to see if it could find a new 4504.zip file. Once again, it found that it was different to the file I had downloaded an hour earlier, and downloaded it again. I unpack it, check the .exe comments...and find too that it is meant to be 4.5.0.4c. I'm guessing you didn't bother to change the version number when you recompiled it, so I have no idea what version this new 4504.zip is meant to be. As a last step, I remember you posted a link to the group last week or something to http://powerpro.webeddie.com/download/powerpro.exe - so I get my download manager to download it again...and it seems to be 4.5.0.4e according to the comments! Please, please, please - start labelling your version numbers in a consistent way. There are many ways you could use apart from putting it in the .exe comments, where you tend to forget it when you quickly compile a new version to fix a problem. Also, please stop uploading a new version over the top of an old one (for example, the 4504.zip file has been used for at least three separate versions that I know of since you first released 4.5.0.4). As I said in my reply to Alan, this prevents anyone from downloading a specific older version if they need it. -- Regards, CM Attention: PowerPro's Web site has moved: http://www.ppro.org Yahoo!
