Hi list & Bruce,

PowerPro appears to be extremely flaky at the moment. :(

The following link loaded in Firefox crashes PP every time:

http://sdm3.rm04.net/ctt?kn=9&m=594744&r=NDE5OTU1MzU5NwS2&b=2&j=MjA0MjMxNjgS1&mt=1

I've tested it in IE with no prob, but whenever Fx renders it, PP
crashes before rendering is complete.

Also, last night I was working in Photoshop, & PowerPro was consistently
freezing at various points -- whenever I tried to close the program, &
most times that I exported a file for the web. ("Save for Web" fxn.)
PowerPro didn't actually crash here but it did freeze, altho my system
itself hadn't frozen -- just PP didn't update my Active bar, & didn't
respond to anything. PowerPro's CPU usage was up around 70-90% each time.

I found 2 ways to get around this -- using Ctrl-Alt-Del then click "Task
Manager" btn, which seems to jig PowerPro into righting itself, or
closing PP via TaskMgr directly.

I have noticed other problems over the last few weeks, but I bought a
new external HD a couple of weeks ago & have been tweaking my system a
lot, so assumed most problems were due to that.

(Incidentally, I did notice that any missing icons & files -- as in,
ones PP couldn't find in their proper location -- threw PP into a right
royal mess that was difficult to decipher at first, which makes me think
the error msg for missing icons/graphics is an excellent idea).

However, while my HD & puter are rockin again now, PP is still falling
over a fair bit.

Thanks,
Karen
