Try changing the text color just to see if any color works: Try some extremes like 255 0 0 or 255 255 255 or 0 255 255. The shown color will be wrong, but possibly something will show. Also try importing in empty.pcf if above does not work. As I mentioned, my implementation of text color is wrong so hopefully fixing it will also fix your situation. > > > 2. No text color defaults to black which is bgcolor, I think. Making any occurence of background color transparent is correct behaviour for 255.
