Jumping into the conversation without knowing all the previous references, but when I've had problems with powerpro changing the wallpaper (which only periodically occurs, and can only be fixed by rebooting the computer - powerpro restarts doesn't fix it) on a scheduled interval it's a 0 byte .bmp file that's created by stil32jp.dll. I'm beginning to wonder if there's a quirky bug in the win32 api's that is triggering this with the different graphics conversion programs.
