I use a script to handle quite a few of my bookmarks in Firefox. The
following script processes links called from elsewhere in the script.
The problem is that quite often after I put the link in the address
bar, it will grab a link from the dropdown history list of the address
bar. For example if I send it "http://www.google.com"; it will grab
"http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=firefox"; from the dropdown
history. I've tried playing with all the waits but I can't get it to
work properly. Can anybody see anything that would be causing it to
grab from the history instead of just processing the link?

@process
local Ed = clip.get
local xyz = arg(1)
if(xyz == "NoTab") do
win.keys("{to *Mozilla Firefox}^l")
elseif(xyz == "Tabbed") do
win.keys("{to *Mozilla Firefox}^t^l")
endif
wait.for(400)
clip.textpaste(link)
wait.for(400)
win.keys("{en}")
wait.for(1500)
clip.set(Ed)
quit

@popurls
local link = ?"http://popurls.com/";
jump process
