For that matter, you don't have to use folder buttons at all. You
could manage your own buttons right in the command list, one entry for
each folder you want included.
To do so, remove the folder name from the Folder Buttons properties
for your bar, delete the "do" item that gave so much trouble, and add
a new entry for each folder you want included. The label at the top is
the text that will be displayed, and the command portion will be:
Command: *Keys
Keys to send: {to folder}c:\your desired path
