Hi Sheri, Hi group,

> Julien seems to have dropped out.

I'm still here.
The group dropped out of Gmane actually. It's back but in the meantime I
got ill and I now have a backlog of other stuff to do before I can find
the time/energy/inclination to get my mind back on that stuff. I also
need to sort through the messages that never showed up on Gmane.
Unless you want me to do something really simple, I'm afraid it'll have
to wait some more... but I intend to tie up the loose ends in the
not-too-distant future. Well, except fot the documentation of course:
that can always wait 'til later.

That said, Bruce is of course right: anyone can do it so you don't need
to wait on me. Anyone willing to read my code can mantain my plugin,
anyone willing to read Bruce's can work on the Google wrapper, and
anyone willing to read the PCRE docs can write a new PCRE plugin that
could (potentially at least) have all the features you want.

Bruce is of course free to include any version with PP. You can make
suggestions, prepare some files to be included with PP or even call
yourself lead product manager for the regex plugin for all I care. Right
now, you're probably more aware than I am myself of how buggy the latest
builds are.
The "TESTING" string is not a curse by the way... there's no harm in
leaving it there. But replacing the offending characters with binary
zeros should work as well.
