Hi Owen, There may be another regex beta with changes to pcreMatchall. It is likely that the sep:nnn option will be eliminated, and the argument for naming an output string variable (for pcreMatchall) will be eliminated. Named variable is redundant since pcreMatchall (when not filling a vector) returns a string that can be assigned to a variable. A new string argument, "Separator" would replace the named variable argument. So the sixth argument would be either a vector handle or a separator string. Alan does want to wrap things up soon. That's the only change being considered, if anything else gets done it would be an addition from the list of Possible Future Enhancements. Alan's dialog for testing regular expressions might also get added to the distribution and file list. And the documentation has and continues to be refined and updated. Unicode has not been tested in the new functions. Wish Sean were around. Regards, Sheri
