I've updated the script to address block comments and //-style comments <http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/power-pro/files/Scripts/convert_script_to_ini.zip>
block comments are optionally removed ;; midline comments are optionally removed lines starting with two forward slashes have the forward slashes replaced with a semicolon midline //-style comments containing double quotes are ignored but other midline //-style comments are optionally removed The ini file produced should be reviewed to make sure all midline comments have been removed. The reason I didn't remove the ones with double quotes in them is that I don't know if the forward slashes themselves are inside double quotes. If the forward slashes are inside a literal quoted string using a delimiter other than a double quote, it would seem like a legitimate midline comment to the converter. In this case elect not to have midline comments do midline comments manually. Regards, Sheri
