Hi there, I found the clip captured sound option in the media tab two days ago. Minutes after configuring and turning it on, I opened a Word document and Powerpro sounded that chime. It also happened when I closed a Keynote file that I used to keep account information in (not any more though), so I downloaded a couple of free virus and trojan detectors and ran them, finding infections my own (not free) software hadn't picked up.
However, the chime still goes off in certain cases, and it still occurs only intermittently - closing firefox tabs or the privacy dialog, opening a Word document, closing an IE tab. I'm scouting for software to determine what is accessing the clipboard, but I may me panicking unnecessarily - have any other users noticed their clip sound going off in this manner? Thanks,
