That's cool, does this work for you? I'm not getting anything back in s:
local s=img.identify("-verbose", mypic)
but this works:
local s = img.identify("-format", "%[EXIF:*]", mypic)
identify "-verbose" "my.jpg"
works from the command prompt. Last line of output says
Version: ImageMagick 6.3.7 11/21/07 Q16 http://www.imagemagick.org
Is that the same version feedback you get?
