Suddenly a problem developed with the alarms on my system: Three alarms were supposed to run during the day.
What happened is that the alarm display dialog was not properly drawn up: I couldn't see the alarm text, the "OK" button or the dropdown to change the alarm repetition time. If I tried to close the dialog, there was an error and PowerPro crashed. I restored a previous backup of pproconf.pcf and the program is working fine now. Apart from the obvious question of what might have caused the problem, which will probably remain unanswered, I would like to ask, is there a way to start PowerPro by bypassing the running of any alarms? In my case since the alarms were somehow deemed to have been missed, running of the alarms was automatic upon startup, and then the program would crash. As a result I couldn't access the Powerpro toolbar.
